Your Job Description

Coordinate tax department activities and act as liaison for internal and external parties
Prepare fiscal year closing activities for Germany and European countries
Ensure compliance with external tax regulations, including VAT, and internal controls like SOX across headquarters, branches, and subsidiaries
Assist finance teams with group taxes, tax planning, and monitoring tax accounts
Manage tax payments for VAT and corporation tax
Support and oversee tax audits in Germany and internationally, collaborating with external consultants

Your qualification profile

Academic degree in business administration (preferably with a focus on finance) or comparable qualification
2-3 years of experience in a corporate tax function or tax consulting
Profound knowledge of German and international tax law, particularly of VAT and corporate tax
Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking, independent and proactive way of working
Profound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Experience with SAP (S4 HANA) preferable
Fluent in English, conversational in German
