
Strategic Buyer for Flight Systems (m/f/d)
Your Job Description
- You are accountable for leading the MFT/MDT, with possible delegation to the Buyer
- You act as the entry point to the company for commodity management (per commodity products/services)
- You establish, implement, and improve commodity strategy
- You implement the procurement policy
- You perform market analysis (global sourcing including offsets)
- You manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc.) and contract management
- You contribute to monitoring and improving supplier performance
- You identify and lead value creation projects and support product/service innovation
- You sustain long-term relationships with suppliers
- You ensure risk management
Your qualification profile
- You have a master degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain/logistics, economics, or a comparable field of study, ideally with a focus on commodity management.
- Your IT skills include MS Office, SAP (materials management), and Google Suite.
- You are proficient in English at least at B2 level according to the CEFR; German and Spanish language skills are desirable.
- Your skills are complemented by initial relevant professional experience in purchasing and disposition/material procurement, as well as good knowledge in commodity management.
